So that's it I guess, thanks for the memories, but I have to move on.

2017 - I'm ready !

Hello everybody, I hope you're doing well. Tomorrow is 2017 and I couldn't be more excited. So I thought it would be nice to write a little recap and share some memories with you.

To be honest, 2016 was not my year, you might don't know much about it and I don't wanna talk to much about my personal life. But in 2016 some things happened that really made it difficult for me to stay positive all the time..

Nevertheless I've grown a lot as a person. I mean back in 2015 I couldn't have imagined myself changing school, starting a blog and over all changing that much. I feel like I'm finally finding myself and that's something I really wanna pursue in the future. Sure I'm not even 18 (not until next year) and I'm still struggeling with growing up, but somehow I feel like I can make it through.

Althrough some bad things happened in 2016, I wanna thank everyone for the year.
It's very difficult for me to remember everything I've done this year, so please excuse me.

I have scrolled through my Instagram Feed and thought I would show you some of my favorite pictures of the year. I haven't travelled that much, however I was able to take some lovely pictures. Enjoy!

Cadzand, the Nederlands

I visited the Nederlands a couple of times this year. Here are some pictures from Cadzand, where we stayed a whole week.

We have also been to Vinsobres, a little town in south France, it's kinda a tradition of ours but I still really like it.

winter essentials II Lifestyle & Beauty

I've stopped writting "best of" posts a couple of months ago, nevertheless I still want to share my favorites with you, so I decided to write seasonal essentials articles. As it's nearly christmas and my christmas break just started, I thought it might be time to share this post with you.

Christmas & New Years Eve - what would these holidays be without dark lipstick? Personally I love to wear dark lipstick all year round, but I know that especially now that it's getting colder ouside everyone loves to wear them aswell, so here are my favorites.

Urban Decay - Naked Basics

Quite as much as I like a dark lip, I adore this eye shadow palette, perfect everyday colors in my opinion. 

Chanel - 18 rouge noir

Essie - 88 licorice

Black nail polish will probably always be my number one, but besides that I also like to wear very dark red nailpolish and this one from Chanel is definitely my favorite. I fell like you could never go wrong with a dark nail polish in wintertime.

Lifestyle

Lush bath bombs 

Lush bath bombs, and of course any other bath bombs, make cold winterdays even more enjoyable in my opinion. There's just that something that makes me so excited to take a bath whenever I pass a lush store or when it's raining outside. I just love to take long warm baths.

Star Choker - Zara

I've told you a couple of months ago about my obsession with chokers, well it still hasn't stopped whenever an wherever I am, I start looking for chokers. They look great with absolutely everything and make even a simle black long sleeve look nice and trendy.

Reading is still my favorite thing to do in wintertime, so here's the book I'm currently reading, I'm so excited to keep on reading. Besides that I think bullet jounaling is a cool thing to start doing this winter, I've bought myself this one and I'm already planning to start mine in 2017.

I've written about quite a couple of things in this post, but still cozy and thick sweaters need to be featured in my winter essentials article, don't you think? I clearly would not survive any winter without a sweater. Especially now that I've been sick, I adore to wear clothes that keep me warm, so that I don't get another cold.

Chai Tea & Sugar Cookies II Food

What's the best thing to do on a rainy day in Autumn/Winter? Right, baking.
So I decided to share this recipe with you. Basically we're making some sugar cookies, which look very fallish but already taste like christmas. Beside that I wanna share with you a very easy chai tea 'recipe'.

Sugar Cookies

You will need..

• 300 gr flour
• 150 gr sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
• 200 gr butter
• icing sugar
• food color
• water

Directions:

1. Mix together the butter, sugar, egg, salt, vanilla sugar and butter until well combined. And form a ball, now you will have to wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for about 1 hour.
2. Prehead the oven to 180 °C.
3. Get the dough out of the fridge and use a rolling pin to roll out the dough on a floured surface.
4. Use cookie cutters, I used these halloween cutters, which in my opinion look really cute. Cut out as many cookies as you want and put them on baking sheets, but be careful so that they don't break. Put them in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes.
5. Meanwhile you can make the icing. Mix together icing sugar, water and food color, use the directions on the packaging, so the color will turn out exactly the way you want.
6. Finally it's time to decorate the cookies, note that they have to cool down completaly before this step. Feel free to decorate them with any kind of sprinkles or whatever you fancy.

Chai Tea

You will need..

• chai tea bag
• cinnamon
• milk
• maybe sugar

1. Boil the water.
2. Pull the tea bag in a large cup and add hot water.
3. Let the tea steep.
4. Meanwhile heat some milk, finally you can also use a milk frother to create frothy milk, but this is only optional.
5. Add the hot milk to the tea and add cinnamon on top.
6. Enjoy!

bye bye, mademoiselle coccinelle II life

 I've changed ..

Actually I'm just a girl, who wants to inspire people. But who as well struggels with growing up and tries to find her place in the big world. 

Back in 2014 I had that dream to start an instagram account and share my photographs with the world, unfortunately I never did. A year later I jumped over my shadow and my instagram page _mademoisellecoccinelle_ was born. 

Now in 2016 I still really like to share my magical moments with you, nevertheless I think I'VE CHANGED quite much since the beginning of mademoiselle coccinelle. I'm not that perfect girl with the brightest smile; a desire to be like the big famous bloggers; a passion for beauty, .. ANYMORE. 

I've learnt that being who I really wanna be, following my own dreams, taking time for myself is more important than anything else. To be honest, I still don't know who I am, but I know that I'm not the same person anymore. 

Mademoiselle Coccinelle was my first step into another world, a world I did not know at this time. However I don't feel like posting any pictures under that name anymore, so I decided to change my username into MYCUPOFMAGIC and start a my chapter on this online platform.

P.S: Somehow I've been quite insecure about my english skills, which is in fact (besides school) the reason I haven't shared much with you and I'm really sorry for that. 

I don't know if I will be able to produce more in the next time neither which type of articles, all I know is that I wanna built a place filled with happiness and magic.
